… and quite a few more. The Clickagy sale, in full.

How they are funded

I have funded Privacy Bee and Undisclosed.com myself. Every dollar of both. No venture capital, no private equity, no outside capital of any kind. A privacy company that answers to investors eventually gets asked to monetize the thing it exists to protect. Neither of these has to.

What I back

The thesis

Infrastructure over interfaces. The layer nobody sees is the layer that is hard to replace.

Founders who have lived the problem. Domain scar tissue beats a deck every time.

Privacy and security as a product advantage, not a compliance line item.

Businesses that work at ten customers and at ten thousand, with no rewrite in between.

Categories where regulation is arriving. Build for the rules that are coming.

Small teams with unreasonable standards.

I angel-invest in early-stage companies across privacy, security and developer infrastructure. If you're building in that space, the fastest route is a direct note, not a warm intro.

Forthcoming

Dawn of Data

Twenty years inside the machine, by the person who helped build it.

A consortium with no household name put a quarter of a billion dollars on the table for the engine he had built, and told him what they intended to do with it. That conversation is where the book starts.
